WICKSTROM A. E. A.E. Wickstrom, Co. E., 2 Minn. Inf. (Obituary Anoka Union March 19, 1924: Well Known Resident of County Passed Away at nearly 80 years of age. Andrew Wickstrom, one of the best known men of this county, died Friday in Minneapolis.  Mr. Wickstrom was 79 years of age and came to this county in 1864. He enlisted in the army and served until the close of the Civil war. His wife was Elizabeth Bodfords, of Cambridge and she passed away in 1904. Three daughters and three sons survive, Mrs. C.W. Rose, Mrs. M.C. Summers Mansfield, Wash., and Clara Wickstrom, Oak Grove; G.A. Minneapolis; also one sister, Mrs. Annie Erickson, Specer Brook.  The funeral was held yesterday, Rev. E.E. Shawl officiating and interment was in Oak Grove.  Mr. Wickstrom was a member of the G.A.R. , State Horticultural Society and was active in politics. He was a splendid gentleman, keen, kindly and beloved by all who knew him.
